BBQ Entry - Promised!

Well I have come just back in from our BBQ :)

It was very nice - Earl got some chicken and some other meat sources including a few inches of burger and a pulled-off-piece of chop.

He got mostly chicken - his kibble tea was reduced so he could have some. He didn't have loads, but he had a little bit more than the other food.

He also enjoyed an outside tea from his GREEN Feeder, with his own little shady garden setup!

Earl: 'More...?'
Mum: 'Sorry Boy... Oh whatever... *feeds*'

Nang nom ning nee!!

Slurp slurp gobbledeegooshus...

Earl: 'For me?!'
Me: 'Yes.'

Handsome boyo!

Earl's little set up :-* :)

Pampered poochicle! :P

We had lovely sunny weather - the clouds look grey on the photo but are actually crystal white in real life!!!!!!

So, we had a great time BBQing as a family, together.

Your probably thinking 'Oi, you can't give dogs tit bits!'
Well, on a BBQ, yes, you can. Its not illegal. Dogs are part of the family and have to join in happily with a family do.

I hope I have agreers?

Thank you!
As you know, we all love our pets!

And on the subject of all pets, let me give you an update on our lovely pond fish and fast growing tadpoles: all doing very well!

Pond Fish

Tadpoles
Fast to grow, bless the little souls!!

The tadpoles sometimes even get treated to some chicken!
And the fish, well they get the finest fish food around... Nishi Coi.

So all our pets are doing well.

I also made a pet college:

I am really proud of it!

So again, make sure you know how to vote for Earl in the Hugmypet Photo Competition! You will be able to, hopefully somewhere around tomorrow!

Look at my last entry to find out more about it.

Many Thanks!

Earl and I.

New venue

Today we had our Sunday agility class again. But at a new venue. This was decided under no control of our own - but still, I am happy!

It is a beautiful venue surrounded by trees - and we get to train there.

Again, some pictures were taken:

The course!

Can you see that pooch???!!

Rear view.

Home we travel.

We had a lovely day once again :-*

Plus, we are heavily looking forward to tomorrow as it is the day I should receive an approval email about the Hugmypet photo competition!! Then Earl's stunning picture will be up for votes! I would give you the picture - but I will keep it as a surprise... make sure you check View & Vote tomorrow! If Earl is not there, hold your horses and keep an eye on this blog... I will write if I get an email. Keep an eye out at View & Vote! And also please remember, by voting for Earl, you will not only enhance your very favourite doggy blogger's life with a large luxury pet hamper, and get to see a photo heavy blog entry on that exactly, but you will be helping dog charities too as I am going to be giving some of the £1,000 prize money to dog charity. Quite a bit of it actually!!!-

-Many thanks - I mean, we couldn't thank you enough!

~Now we're off to have a BBQ!

Stay tune, for an entry about that BBQ exactly!

Exciting!

Today, I went on a shopping-spree for Earl at Pets At Home! I bought him a KONG Flyer Frisbee, a KONG Airdog Squeaky Tennis Ball, and a packet of Coaching Dog Treats. Below are the pictures!:

Having fun :)

The treats

The size and shape

In our doggie-treaty tin!

Earl cooling down on a cool towel, after having cool water splashed over him! Its such a hot day!

We had lots of fun! Earl even approved of the cool water he got on his body, (well, more than usual...)! He drank the majority of his fresh cold water in his water bowl, and he is currently outside enjoying the wonderful weather again!

As recall is such an important thing your dog(s) needs to know, you need to continue training it, even if you think your dog knows it already! We have our doggie-treaty tin which we store small training treats in. I take the tin out with us and when Earl is off-lead, I shake the tin whenever and call Earl's name. Then when he comes back, I tell him to sit, and watch me. Then when he does, I treat him and thoroughly praise him.

I love spending my money, time and effort on my pets!

Oh and also, me and Earl have entered a photo competition on hugyourpet.co.uk. We are waiting for the entry aproval email which should come Monday, then our entry is up for voting! Check out: View & Vote

...And you can vote for Earl when he comes on!! Please check either Monday or Tuesday because hopefully he will be there to vote for!

I will post on this Blog to let you know when he is up :)

The prize for the winning photo is £1,000 and a large luxury pet hamper. If we win, some money will hopefully go to a dog charity. This will help dogs in need!

Please vote when up!

We will update you also when we are close to/have done our future agility displays and competitions which take place this July.

Until next time (hopefully Monday-Tuesday),

Earl and I.

Search & Find

Me and Earl did some search and Find work in the garden today. Earl is getting so good, he'd trek through out mini waterfall to find it on the other side! Earl is so sensitive he finds water annoying and uncomfortable sometimes...

So here are some photos I took of Earl in action: Enjoy!:

Waiting rather patiently for me to hide the toy!

And action!!! Tail up, paws everywhere, nose down, tongue out in a controlled fashion...

Wet paw!!!

Ahhhhh <3

Paws!! Your paws, dog!!!!!!

And a happy find :)

We had great fun! It really does keep your dog's mind stimulated!! Plus it is an enjoyable activity for all to enjoy. For everyone - Scentwork is a sport for all. Especially for those owners who love to be out there and adventurous,  and for dogs who can't get enough of using their nose, like Earl! Nose and speed is Earl... *guess the two dog sports... ;)

Have a go with your dog! You will have some great times doing this together.

You can take part in competitive Scentwork when you are at the top, and Scentwork classes, as well as having fun sessions of Scentwork at home in your house or garden.

*Agility and Scentwork/Search and Find!

Until next time!
