Homemade Agility!

Well we have just come inside from having a Homemade Agility session! My mum took some pictures, which will be uploaded next!

I am very proud of him, he did great! He is such a high flyer!

Doesn't the course look fun?!

I am proud of building it!! Along with my mum...

P.S. Earl is still utterly adoring his new bed, and doing great with his out-of-crate training :)

Bedtime, CATastrophe, Action!

I finally saved up enough money to buy Earl a new bed - £50 of wonderful bedding!

His old one had sagging sides, a bottom forming holes, and seams full of dog hair... not to mention the small size!

So here is his new one:

Earl in his bed:

We are also currently working Earl out of his crate by leaving the door of his crate open but still commanding him to go to his 'bed'. We will get there!!!

Now we have the new bed, we cannot fit his crate water bowl inside. We must leave the door open so that he can get to his water in the Kitchen still :)

He loves his new bed! Yay! Yes!!

I also went to visit my Nannie and Granddad today but couldn't take Earl because of one flipping obvious reason - they have a cat. Earl hates cats... Charlie the Tabby cat:

Their next door neighbour also has a younger cat. Oscar the Tabby cat:

Both of them:

And I also took some action shots of Earl in the garden only yesterday - they are amazing!

They are great pictures are they not?!

Until next time!

Dog Food Talk!

Lucky us! Only a few days ago now our prize Natural Instinct box of raw dog food arrived at our door! We had won a photo competition called 'In the Pink' in Dogs Today Magazine, along with various other winners - this, including a Your Pet Forum friend!

As you know, Earl is on dry food. He was on CSJ, however, it has been giving him runny faeces. And we know the consequences of runny faeces... Loss of weight, can lead to anal gland problems etc. So we are moving him back to Symply for now. Obviously gradually like you would with any dog food. He is already enjoying those little pieces again against the big pieces of CSJ.

The NI is still in the freezer at the moment, waiting to be dealt with. We are pleased we won however! :D

I took pictures:

The box!

Everything.

Frozen liver treats and meat wings...

The boxes of food...

The freezer space taken up (about two shelves)

So we are very pleased we won! Such a big prize as well :)

So we moved Earl back to Symply:

Kibble bits!

In the container...

NEW! Package design!!!

It is Small Breed Adult - Lamb and Rice, this packet. We may slowly ween him into Burns later on (when his faeces are right as rain again) or we might just stay on Symply.

All we want is the best for our boy <3

Until next time!

Agility Rome

Today, Earl and I went to our Sunday agility class once again.

I am very proud of Earl because I was able to let him off the lead on the field while we packed away. There were Border Collies there too (remember Earl's Border Collie incident? An out of control Border Collie lunged at him, snapping, snarling, biting??) So I was a little bit wary, but had confidence in my little dog.

So I let him off lead and we packed up - then we went for a roam around the field, Earl's nose in action for a lot of it!

So we really enjoyed taking in all that fresh air :)

Then we headed back and went home in an extremely good mood!

At home:

Shining as bright as the sun...!

So as you can see, we had a lovely, peaceful time after out breakneck speedy agility session!
