Second to Last Show - Nuts Winter Series

Success keeps coming and is bliss!

We attended the second to last Agility Nuts Competition of the winter series yesterday - and now only have one show to go until the winning overall dogs are announced in each league! We're so excited to see which handlers and dogs are awarded overall in their individual leagues! As we are in the second to highest level in AN you can imagine how amazing we would feel to move into the most advanced group of the entire show! It would be incredible!

Earl and I came out with a clear 6th in Snakes and Ladders and two addition clear rounds. Fantastic considering there were over 30 dogs in each class and there are 3 levels mixed into one competitive group again! I am so proud of Earl - his continuous attitude to loving his agility and working with me is fabulous to behold - and many others see this in our work too.

I could tell Earl was really into every second while running around the rings. He was truly on top and speedy too. There is no limit to his happiness levels in competitions now - its lovely to see him improve! And there is still plenty of little points to improve in training which makes things fun!

Here he is - the proud lad hoping to remain in the lead and win his league this series!!

I am always so proud!

We both always sleep so well when we've been competing - and wake up with the reminder of previous success and its so nice. I sleep like my canine companions themselves once a long day is complete.

Roll on the FINAL show - the series will soon be coming to a close and the winners overall will be awarded!

Maximum Celebrations

We had a fabulous time on Earl's 5th birthday yesterday - and we thank you all for the wishes you gave him! He barks a thanks. We celebrated more than we told you to be truthful - and here we are to show you all the fun we really had! Earl was spoilt rotten (surprise surprise) Haha!

We began the celebrations with presents galore, spread across the living room carpet - the dogs were mad! Ethel was invited into the fun, and helped Earl unwrap some presents. Was this present food? Was the other present a toy? Or maybe even treats in some delicious form?

He received loads and loved them!

He received -

- A Dental Chew (and one for Ethel)
- Two packets of Misfits treats
- A packet of Wagg treats
- A raw hide chew (and one for Ethel)
- A new black Ancol lead
- A Rubber Ring
- A Double Ball Rope toy
- Two cards (one with a badge!)

Once we all discovered the contents inside the wrapping, the dogs were given a varied choice of what to enjoy first of all. They chose to chew their large hide sticks - which lasted them hours! You could tell how much they were adoring them - they wouldn't leave them alone to do anything - including their business...

Earl was the first to finish his chew - and due to him then wanting Ethel's, we had to give Earl something else. So we gave him some alternative sticks until Ethel had done. Then he finished these before Ethel had finished - therefore we all decided to move them both onto the next irresistible goodie. Little Ethel was a tad slower savouring her delicious hide chew she had been blessed with on this lovely occasion! Well, the savouring she carried out did work in her favour when it comes to lasting!

Then, we all had a lovely snuggle on the sofa watching some films (about dogs).

Soon the dogs decided to have more go time! So they then chose the dental chews which also lasted them a while. These were fun, delicious and beneficial for the two to enjoy!

And Ethel enjoyed the one she had too!

Earl then had a lovely birthday photo shoot where I took advantage of him wearing his cool dude bandanna for this special occasion and took some nice photos while I could - even though by now the day had come and almost gone - and the evening was becoming dark - inside with lights was perfect for photography on this occasion!

The time had now come - Earl was about to go in to be sang to - the obvious song choice!! - and was given his cake to blow the candles on. He was then given his cake and Ethel even had her own little treat to nom on then too.

We call it the Jumbone Cake!!

Here you have just seen Earl preparing to blow the candle - and getting SO excited waiting to nom it down! Then here goes the eating - the favourite section for both of the dogs. Who hadn't had enough birthday food throughout the day no...

Earl adored the cake. And Ethel was privileged to receive her share of the cake too! Earl had this candle in his half - and Ethel received the second half - you can't leave a puppy out from the celebrations!!

The celebrations were done and the dogs were so very happy with the fun day. It was time to snooze! All ready for Valentines day which is to come so soon! The celebrations for Earl's 5th birthday were amazingly fun and we had some fabulous frolics along the way. Earl wants to thank everyone who wished Earl some wonderful wishes for a fab birthday - we all enjoyed his special day!

And special thanks to Jenna and the pack for this wonderful card!!

And Molly for the wonderful interactive card she sent to us!! However we cannot show here of course! We loved it so much!!

Thanks so much guys!! We LOVE the amazing cards!! Thanks again! See you all soon!
