The Kennel Club International Agility Festival 2016 - 14/08/16
Hello everyone! Yesterday was our very first time attending and competing at the world's largest Agility show, The Kennel Club International Agility Festival, and Ethel did me - as per usual - proud!
We won Grade 4 Jumping and came 5th in the Young Kennel Club Jumping Dog Of The Year (missing out on a place by 0.2 seconds...)! Both of her Jumping runs were absolutely fantastic and I couldn't have been prouder of her. She did some wonderful and promising contacts in her Agility classes after them being a little bit iffy at recent competitions. Getting placed - never mind winning - at The Kennel Club International Agility Festival is never an easy task, and me and Ethel went and did it first time! Oh, and we secured our winning position on the podium!
It was definitely one extremely exciting day of Agility!
Now it's time for us to venture off on our Devonshire holiday early tomorrow morning, where we'll be having fun and winding down for approximately 10 days, before returning home to another two days of competing! Although activity may be low on our blog during this time, you can keep your eyes peeled for activity on our social media accounts!

Recent Updates - New Blog Address & A Break From Our Blog Hops
Hello everyone! Before we begin, I would like to apologise for my constant absence in the blogging world. We have been ridiculously busy offline recently and I plan to get back to blogging regularly from now on. Before we get back to our usual blogging regime, there are a few recent updates that I must familiarise you all with. Although this may seem like a long, wordy and boring post, please do read it through as it is very important.
Firstly, we have a brand new and much more professional blog address for Earl's World! Earl's World can now be found using the address earlsworlddogblog.blogspot.com. We are not moving blogs, however, if searching for this blog, please we aware that it now has a new address.
We have also decided to put our Pinch Punch Post Blog Hop on hold for a while. Unfortunately, we have not been getting regular - or any - participants, and sorting out a blog hop that no one joins is a little too much for us and seems rather pointless, especially with us having had less time on our hands - and paws - recently. We hope to reboot the blog hop sometime in the future, however, we want to take some time off and recruit some new and reliable cohosts beforehand. We also want to sort out an emailing list to make more people aware of the hop's existence.
The Sepia Saturday Blog Hop hosted by Ruckus The Eskie and us has also been put on hold and will not be occurring anymore. I do not know whether this will be rebooted in the future. This was a decision that Ruckus took into his own paws.
Thank you for reading through this post; as I said at the start, it is incredibly important that these things are made clear to all of our wonderful readers. I also vow to visit all of your wonderful blogs a lot more frequently; I have missed reading them and leaving comments about their wonderful content.
Now you can all put your feet - and paws - up, and look forward to some much more regular posts from us! Me, Earl and Ethel have all missed sharing our adventures with you!
And finally, before we go for today, here is a reminder of our active social media pages:

Agility Nuts 30 & 31/07/16
Ethel was absolutely amazing at Agility Nuts this weekend!
Ethel |
This little dog of mine really gave me all of the speed, drive and enthusiasm in her little self this weekend and was an absolute pleasure to run! I absolutely loved pushing her and I in the Jumping classes, while using her Agility classes as training for her contacts. She won both of her Jumping classes and came 2nd in Gamblers, Snakes and Ladders Jumping and Helter Skelter. And, to top it all off, she won the overall ABL Elementary League of the Summer Series 2016, meaning that we will be competing at Starters level during the Winter Series! I am extremely proud of my incredible little dog!

Dog Vegas Finals 24/07/16
We had another absolutely incredible Agility show at the Dog Vegas Finals show on the 24/07/16!
Little Ethel has gone Grade 5! She won Grade 4 Jumping and Combined 1-4 Jumping; the final two wins necessary for her to win out! She also came 3rd in Combined 1-4 Agility and 2nd in Grade 4 Agility, with me holding her on her contacts for training purposes, obviously slowing her down! She was absolutely amazing! She would have won a different Grade 4 Jumping class by five seconds, but she unfortunately knocked a pole. I could not have asked for more from her at all! We really do have a promising and extremely exciting future in Agility coming up!
Earl also did me proud, coming 6th in the Dog Vegas Finals that he qualified for during 2015! He ran beautifully for a sensitive little soul in a huge ring with a massive audience and even a commentary! He always has, still does and always will do me proud for trying his very best for me in all that he does.
