We're Back & Better Than Ever

Hi everyone (if anyone's still around...)! Yep, it's me! After what seems like an eternity without blogging, we're finally back and better than ever! Earl, Ethel and myself have been up to a lot of exciting things recently and I can't wait to get back into the wonderful world of blogging and start sharing our adventures with you all again.

A lot has happened since I last updated you all. The main highlights were competing at OJAC 2017, the Team GB performance weekend and going Grade 7 with Ethel! It's been another successful period in the world of agility and we have so many more exciting events coming up very soon! Here're a few photos of our recent events and achievements to get our blog back into the swing of things.

It's definitely been a crazily awesome period! Stay tuned for more regular posts and updates from now on! We have many more agility shows coming up soon, two Team GB training days, our first championship and Crufts singles classes, and, most excitingly, Luxembourg for the EOJs! Oh, it's good to be back.

Ethel - Crufts 2017 - 09/03/2017

Apart from having a slightly erratic moment after getting distracted by the judge and practically dive-bombing him, young little Ethel ran brilliantly in the Young Kennel Club (YKC) Agility Dog Of The Year (ADOTY) Over 12 Small Semi-Final at Crufts 2017! Considering that it was her very first time competing at Crufts, I am absolutely delighted with her! I am especially delighted with her consistent contacts! She was extremely well-behaved throughout the entire day and accumulated an impressive amount of admirers. It was an extremely enjoyable, memorable and valuable experience.

YKC Junior Agility Team GB 2017 Selection

I am delighted to announce that Ethel and I have been selected to represent Great Britain in the European Open Junior (EOJ) Agility Championships 2017 in Luxembourg as a part of Young Kennel Club (YKC) Junior Agility Team GB 2017!

The final selection was made after two extremely competitive squad days. An impressive amount of young handlers and their dogs battled it out at Squad Day 1 in order to be invited to compete at Squad Day 2. Once both of the squad days had taken place, the coaching team selected twenty-four of the best handlers and their dogs to join the elite team.

Ethel was absolutely brilliant at the Young Kennel Club (YKC) European Open Junior (EOJ) Agility Team GB Squad Day 1! She came 4th in Junior Jumping 2!

Ethel - Agility Nuts Agility Show - 04/03/2017

Ethel was brilliant at the Agility Nuts Agility Show that we went to in order to train for Crufts!

She worked extremely enthusiastically and I am a delighted with how she performed. She even came 1st in ABL Novice Plus Jumping!
