Anyway, I gave him a biscuit in his KONG.
He really enjoyed it, until he started breathing heavily and reverse-sneezing. So I took it off him. It obviously wasn't the right thing for him while he has KC. But he enjoyed it while it lasted... and after it lasted! I took it out of the KONG for him and he crunched it right up. An automatic KONG eh Earl? Your not doing it manually today!
Another thing that really gets on, up and right around my nerves until they're spinning in circles is how some people put KONG biscuits inside the KONGs. They do it so that the entire biscuit is not completely wedged into the KONG. Therefore (the obvious reality strikes) the dog can drag the biscuit, with much ease, out of the KONG and eat it within 2 seconds - or less. KONGs, their biscuits and pastes are designed to keep dogs busy and stimulated for ages. Maybe even hours on end for some... if you use it properly. Dogs get no stimulation by having the biscuit half sticking out of the toy - they only gain weight when they don't need it! (if they don't need it). So when you buy a stimulation toy or game like the KONG, make sure you are using it correctly or else it does more harm than good!
Earl and I.
Hope Earl feels better soon. We like food toys too although they never last that long.
