However many dogs dogs you may be privileged to own… you can buy them as many toys as you wish them to have! The more toys, the more choice - the more choice, the more stimulation and self-thinking! If you have one dog, he or she can lather them with his or her very own spit and scent. If you have more than one dog, they can all learn to share toys (along with spit and scent!) and have fun playing with each other with the toys, as well!
So is there a minimum you must stop at when it comes to buying your dog(s) toys?
No! Of course there isn't. As long as the toys pose no hazard, you can buy as many as it is humanely natural, or beyond.
Mischievous but fun!

Earl and I.
I agree! There is no minimum of toys a dog should have! They love having choices, and lets face it, who wants to play with the same thing every time?

You are so right, Jenna - your mirroring my brain; did you know that?
Deletewe have waaaay too many toys and recently rotated them. I also like to donate if the toy is in good shape.
ReplyDeleteHehe!
DeleteMy dogs have never liked toys. Patches likes a squeaky toy for a moment, but isn't overly interested. The two of them play with each other, really.

Frisbees are sure fun!!
DeleteWe have a toybox full and I go through it every couple of months and donate what they don't play with.
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely of you!
DeleteNo minimum - but there definitely is a maximum in our household! Keeps it from getting out of control!
