Keep your hot pets cool!
So ensure you are 100% knowledgable on how to act if your dog or cat slips into the heated trap of hot weather this summer, and know what to do to prevent tragedies occurring. It could save your pet's precious life.
We're joining our hosts, 2 Brown Dawgs and Heart Like a Dog, for the Thursday Barks and Bytes Blog Hop. We send many thanks their way, and you can join in below.
Thank you for joining the blog hop! These are great tips and cool graphics. Around here the worst bit about summer is the idiots taking their dogs in the car and then leaving them while they go shopping. It makes me dread going to the store at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteNo problem, we always enjoy your hop! Thanks. Oh yes, I agree.
DeleteAwww Earl looks so cute, such a good actor BOL :D
ReplyDeleteThanks, hehe! He really is!

DeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteThere can never be too many reminders about animals and heat...they are calling for 3 digit temps here (that's 100 degrees plus Fahrenheit or 37-38 degrees Celcius).
Y'all come on by,

Agreed.
DeleteWow! I love these infographics! Sharing!
ReplyDeleteCool! Thanks!
Deleteit's impawtant to stay cool in summer... even my short fur is too warm when the sun comes out... butt currently we have a rainstorm and I have to stay dry :o)
ReplyDeleteeasy rider
Agreed, our pal. I see.
DeleteIt is a wonderful infographic and a great reminder, however I do want to mention one thing - about shaving cats and dogs in the hot months. That may not always be the best idea, as shaving a dog can result in sun burns, skin cancers, and potentially make the dog even hotter than they would have been had their fur been left alone. This is especially true for double coated dogs. Otherwise, great info, and I enjoyed the infographic!
ReplyDeleteღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Thanks. Oh, I see. I didn't create this infographic, but I see where you're coming from. I wouldn't shave my two in the hot months - they get stripped, as terriers should be, anyways. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
DeleteAnd your two look absolutely FAB when stripped! :) :) :)
DeleteThanks, hehe!
