North Derbyshire Dog Agility Club Championship And Premier Show 2016

Earl and Ethel were brilliant at the North Derbyshire Dog Agility Club Championship and Premier Show 2016, and, although my awful memory and sometimes wrong commands posed some slight difficulties for us in a couple of courses, we had a wonderful time and came home with a huge haul!

Earl won Grade 5 Agility (with an extremely unfortunate two seconds of time faults, meaning that it cannot count towards progression) and went Clear in the Combined 1-5 Agility Dog Vegas Qualifier! His confidence and happiness at competitions has been regained; he even started barking on the start line! In the not-so-distant past, he would refuse to even look at me when I tried to excite him before a run. His break from Agility is paying off, and he has reentered the Agility scene with a BOOM! It is clear to see that my little man officially enjoys Agility again, and he still has more to give in the competitive scene!

Ethel came 2nd in Grade 5 Jumping, 2nd in Grade 5 Agility, 3rd in Combined 5-7 Jumping, 3rd in Grade 5 Jumping, 4th with a team in the TAG Team Dash and 5th in the Combined 1-5 Agility Dog Vegas Qualifier, making her a Reserve again! Ethel runs her paws off in every run, amazing me in everything.

We also saw and talked to Daisy and Poppy from Paws Weaving; it was lovely to see them run!

We had another wonderful and successful weekend!
