AN KC & Club's Fun Dog Show

We've had an incredibly busy weekend, as usual! On Saturday, we spent the day competing at an Agility Nuts KC show, and I was happy. Earl ran nicely, and although he did pick up a couple (only one on one run!) seconds time faults on a few runs, I thought he ran nicely for him, with some utterly beautiful contacts all day! I hardly had to slow him down for them; he just got them! He did have an amazing run, 6 seconds INSIDE the course time, on the Combined 1-7 Jumping course! Good boy.

Then, on Sunday, we spent the day helping out and enjoying our dog club's annual yearly fun day and fun dog show, which, as always, was busy but a lot of fun! I spent most of the day helping out on the have-a-go agility ring, which was a pleasure. There were so many eager dog owners wanting to have a go at something new and fun with their best friend; many young children, also. I didn't enter as many show classes as I probably would have done if it was 'just a general dog show' (we weren't a part of the working team), but me and Earl did win Coolest Duo (Best Child Handler) and the Child Handler Agility!

Ethel also did well, being an amazing girl in the ring when I entered her in a class! She was calm and happy throughout, and I am so proud of her. She's coming on in leaps and bounds. Here she is, checking out all our winnings and freebies from the day!

It's been another exciting weekend for us!

We're joining our hosts Snoopy's Dogblog, Alfie's Blog and My Brown Newfies in the Monday Mischief Blog Hop. We send many thanks their way, and you can join in below.
