Agility Nuts Kennel Club Show (& Sepia Sat)

What a day! Let me start out by saying… WE WON OUT! Which means we have moved up a grade (level) due to having won agility! In further detail…

We achieved TWO 1st places (wins), one in graded agility (grade 3) and the other in combined agility, 1-3 all in the same class, competing against each other. These wins were both clear! We also got another clear in the last jumping class, which was 4th out of 14 people but not officially placed as the place was out of the percentage of official point placings. If that makes sense to y'all??!

And because this was a Kennel Club (KC) show, all these points go towards our warrants and Crufts progression!!! We're thinking ahead! We're SO close to our bronze warrant now… come come Empingham KC show both days next weekend!!!

A fantastic day all round for us today! As well as our class success in the rings, we also enjoyed the rest of our day in between runs as well!

A very lovely lady we met (a fellow Border T owner actually!) a few competitions ago now brought me a belated birthday present, a stash of magazines, and my mum and I a Magnum ice cream! Yum yum! How kind of her!! She also topped our water bottle up for us that we needed to douse Earl with in his cool coat for the day.

No, sorry Earl, its chocolatey!!

The lovely birthday present - 'The Amazing Adventures of Bertie the Border Terrier' book by A W M Priestley. I just can't wait to read it! I shall start tonight!!

And now, some photos of the day in general.

Sat on his adorable doggy-themed cushion-bed in his cool coat outside the car in between runs

A birds-eye view of my patient pup!

I am extremely overjoyed!

P.S. We have even had to start up a whole new rosette award display board!!!

A fabulous start to it!

Let it grow! Let it GROW!...

And now, how could we ever post a Saturday post without adding a splash of Sepia? So here is out contribution to Sepia Saturday.

We are participating in the Sepia Saturday Blog Hop hosted by Ruckus The Eskie - thanks again pal!
