Story & Interview
Hi Amanda! Please could you introduce us to your dog?
Her pet name is Lottie, and her kennel name is Lady Of The Lake. On reflection, it should have been Lady Of The Bog. Lottie is an 18 month old English Cocker Spaniel, and we live in a little village in Buckinghamshire, in England. No other pets at the moment, though I am debating a cat and/or another spangle, but I have to buy a house first! Lottie is a dinky little Spangle, and people often remark "What a gorgeous little girl!". It is quite fun to watch the smile fade, as they see her merrily throwing herself into a cowpat…
What do you love to do with Lottie?
We have amazing meadows, heaths and woods around us, so love walking, especially when with other doggy friends. That is when I am not bathing her from the aforementioned bog wallowing. She is a champion.
Why did you set up your dog blog?
It was originally just a Facebook page, so I didn't bore all my friends with the million Lottie photos! Then when she was spayed and we were stuck indoors, I set up a blog, just for fun. A few months later, and it seems to be going really well! I am now including articles of petcare, health, products and other interesting tidbits.
How does Lottie inspire you in life?
If I am feeling blue, I only have to take Lottie on a walk, and look at her sheer joy in just being alive in that moment. I love watching her cute little backside just wiggling off in front of me, as she investigates where we are, chasing butterflies and finding whatever scent she can. Even though I am praying "Not fox poo. Please not fox poo!"
Awww! It seems you and Lottie have a great bond and just to let you know, your bllogging is going great! Paws Up is you LURV A Spaniel's Tail please!!
