National Dog Day - #PUPtectors

Hey everyone! 

Its National Dog Day today, my most favourite day, hehe. Who on Earl's World could possibly miss it?!

Anyway, to celebrate today, we're helping raise awareness alongside Dropcam, who I kindly received an email from regarding this, and share our own story, plus share a cute and creative info graphic put together by the good people at Dropcam, which aims to help YOU decide what type of 'security' dog you have, if you have one…

So, here is the list of reactions from dogs, stating how different dogs may react to people entering the property, or attempting to, even if that just means a simple knock or walking into the territory…

For Earl, he's a Social Butterfly with people he has already met. He'll bark madly at anyone, but bark lovingly with a more relaxed body posture and a more whiny-bark when its a family member or friend - he does recognise them!! He'll bark with hackles and tail raised, a gruff bark and continue barking if its a stranger however.

For Ethel, she is too young for me to be able to tell yet. She only looks alert at Earl when he goes off on one. She'll trot to the kitchen door and look up, then wiggle about and into the guests no matter who they are at the moment, but no serious reaction.
