Pinch Punch Post November 2014 & Sepia Saturday

Why, oh, WHY did both of my hosting/co-hosting blog hops, the Pinch Punch Post, and Sepia Saturday have to collide on the exact same day??? Ur. Well, we'll just have to work around it with both.

Firstly, as I am the brainchild of this growing hop, I would like to talk to you quickly and as briefly as possible about some improvements made and being made to the Pinch Punch Post Blog Hop. 

First of all, I would like to welcome with open arms, Frada, from the blog My Mutt, to the hosting team of the PPP! And to thank her for volunteering so willingly to cohost alongside my long-timer cohost, My Dog Diaries. Our new cohost is one of the new improvements.

Another change I am making is that, gladly and willingly, I am making the Pinch Punch Post blog hop more easy to participate in. So that you don't have to take a day remembering, looking at calendars, then finding photos from the past month, especially for very busy people (like us, BOL), I am making it so that to join the PPP, you can even simply post a photo of your pet(s) looking as though they are into the coming month and it's season. I am hoping that you understand that!! For example, October, your pet with leaves or a brownish scenery etc. December, your pet in snow or with frost on his/her nose etc. July, basking and panting in the sun etc. April your pet with flowers around him/her etc. You can do this on its own, and/or you also have the choice to plan your coming month. So its an open hop. Simply relate to the coming month, and we give you some ideas on what to include! I hope this will make it easier for people to hop along. More simple, but effective.

I hope you will reap the benefits of the changes made, and will continue to enjoy the PPP with us. I also hope that if you're new, our fresh and updated 'rules' (geez, sounds so harsh, but I'm at loss for a better, softer word……) will be enticing to you. Please share the hop around, and its rules if you can. Greatly appreciated - oh, and one more thing. The main rule is… have fun!!

We are also meaning to change the PPP badge according to our new 'rules' (goD dammit I hate using that word in that context!), however cannot currently as our Flash is down and needs updating, which we are struggling to carry out due to passwords (doh, grrrr) at the current time. So for this month we'll bumble along with our usual one, which we only just updated last month!!

SO, November! Can you quite believe it already?! Bonfire Night is coming here our home state of the UK, meaning fireworks. The dreaded fireworks, for some. As with all other up and coming occasions this year and next year before and after June the 7th, it is Ethel's first experience.

We participated in Dog Walking Week!

I had a terrible cold which Earl helped sympathise with.

We bought Ethel a new coat!

Earl and I brushed up on his chair stunts!

Earl had to wrap up warm against the cold!

We paraded our huge pumpkin!

We came through at Dog Vegas!

We achieved loads at winter Agility Nuts!

Poor Ethel had a leg accident.

Ethel had her very first puppy agility session!

We prepared ourselves for Halloween!

We had to get an emergency pumpkin after the big one rotted!

We had a very happy Howl-O-Ween!

So there you have it - another wonderfully fun and frantic month in Earl and Ethel's household! And we have a lot planned for November. We're excited for it to really get going!

And as for Sepia Saturday, I hope y'all enjoyed viewing our large, November, Sepia picture.
