Our Competitive Weekend And Ethel's First Run

What a weekend we've had! A brilliant one, in my opinion!

So much occurred, I've had to sum the entire weekend up in one collage!

At Dog Vegas, I was thrilled at how confident and happy Earl was whilst running. I don't think I've ever seen him as happy in the competitive ring before! He seemed to take the whole atmosphere in his stride. You could tell that he was loving every single second! On top of this, he came 3rd in Combined 5-7 Agility, and went clear again with a lovely pace in the Combined 1-7 Helter Skelter. He also came 2nd in the Grade 5 Agility, and 2nd again in the Grade 5 Jumping! Some lovely, interesting and challenging courses there, too! Good man!

At Agility Nuts the following day, he performed just as amazing! He came 6th in the Agility, 7th in Power and Speed, and also went clear in the Up N Under class and the Jumping class, which were incredibly easy courses for us all. Once again, a brilliant competition!

On top of this, Ethel ran her first ever run in a competitive environment at this show! She was amazing! Despite coming out of the entrance of the tunnel again, due to me rear crossing her into it (she isn't used to me doing this), she ran beautifully! She's a pleasure to run, with a thunderous pace!

Ethel sporting her competition collar and lead!

I am incredibly pleased with how both dogs ran this weekend, and I can't wait to compete with Ethel more in the future! She's one speedy dog, and loves running around and jumping! Well done doggies on another successful and fun weekend!

    2. That's Great! We have to wait for ages til we can do any Agility Shows! Ethel's doing very well - especially as shes quite young, Wilson and I will probably only be starting doing training rounds in the Spring and he's is 2.5 Years, but we only started seriously training a few months ago, so I think he's doing pretty well :-p Good Luck for your next Comp :-)
