Canine Travel During The Holidays

There's nothing nicer than having your beloved canine companion accompany you on an outing, especially during the excitement of Christmas time. As a matter of fact, I cannot recall the last weekend where I travelled somewhere without Earl and Ethel by my side, bright eyed and eager faced. I, for one, am definitely someone who always raises the below question of 'can we bring the dog(s)? wherever we may be going... are you? Here are some of the facts regarding people travelling with their pups, all summed up in one incredibly festive infographic, courtesy of Kurgo.

Do you often travel with your dog, and if so, how do you do so?

We're joining our hosts 2 Brown Dawgs and Heart Like A Dog in the Thursday Barks And Bytes Blog Hop. We send many thanks their way, and you can join in below.

  3. I try and take them everywhere! The big dogs have a special dog guard in the back and Holly & Wilson also have a crate in the back :-) The only time Wilson's traveled out of the crate it on the way home (on my lap) and a few times with a dog-seat belt, the same with Holly :-)

  4. Bailie and I usually go along with Mom. Katie doesn't travel well anymore, so she often stays with Mom's cousin and gets spoiled. My mom traveled the world a lot her first 30 some years and really hates travel at this point, so we don't travel much these days.

    1. It is! So do we. We're usually out somewhere where we may not have been if it wasn't for them, such as Agility training and competitions.
