How can anyone in their right mind leave any such deliciousness sitting in front of a greedy dog? Some things are simply unfair on so many levels.
We're joining our hosts Dachshund Nola and Sugar The Golden Retriever in the Black And White Sunday Blog Hop. We send many thanks their way, and you can join in below.
Earl, you can probably knock that trash bin over if you give it just a bit of a nudge!
ReplyDeleteTo do something so mischievous would be crossing his line; he's a good dog and always will be!
DeleteOh Earl, how could they temmpt you like that?
ReplyDeleteI guess you can't just dump a food-filled bin bag just anywhere! Near the main bin is somewhere the dogs hang around on more of a regular basis, in the hope of a delicious morsel, no matter how small.
DeleteMy dogs definitely would not be able to resist the temptation!!
ReplyDeleteEthel's skills of resistance to temptation, on the other hand, failed her well before Earl even glanced at the bin bag. I caught her with an empty food packet only minutes after the bin bag had been placed on the ground.
DeleteNo dog can resist rotting leftovers.
ReplyDeleteTell me about it! Both Earl and Ethel are complete food addicts!
DeleteEarl, You show great self discipline!
ReplyDeleteHe does! He's a good, obedient dog.
DeleteOh! Oh! those begging eye ... need to resist it. Golden Woofs
ReplyDeleteHe can really pull off some killer puppy dog eyes.
DeleteSometimes a dog has got to do what a dog has got to do!

Although you are correct in the majority of senses, Earl is an exception. He never even placed a single prancing paw on this bin bag, even though his struggle was obvious!
DeleteAwe, what a good boy!
ReplyDeleteHe is indeed!
DeleteAw Earl! I FEEL YOUR PAIN my Fur Friend!! ~ Shasta
ReplyDeleteHe really wasn't amused, but it was perfect practice for self control!
DeleteSo unfair!
ReplyDeleteAren't humans mean? Taking dogs in, loving them, caring for them and then placing unavailable edibles in front of them!
DeleteNow if some happens to fall on the floor...LOL!
ReplyDeleteHa ha... Hope you managed to eat some :)

Unfortunately he didn't succeed in snapping any morsels up.
DeleteI agree.... the two big bin bags in my crib were a super gift too... sadly my dad grabbed it before I could check it... he is a greedy guy huh?
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't much of a present, was it? Dear me! Us humans!
DeleteYou are a good dog if you left those alone!
ReplyDeleteHe did, and he is! Ethel, on the other hand, is a completely different board game!
DeleteLOL true, true.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Haha.
DeleteOh boy..Peeps can be so very mean sometimes!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

Sometimes we just don't realise what we're doing when we dump a food-full bin bag in front of a characteristically greedy canine!
DeleteYou have an iron will, Earl!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! :)
Haha! He does! Happy New Year to you too!
DeleteYou have great restraint my gang would be in it and spreading it all over.
ReplyDeleteHaha! He is incredibly obedient, especially for a Terrier!
