Post-Christmas Temptation

After the giant Christmas dinner has been devoured, delicious leftovers lay rotting in a bin bag.

Earl

How can anyone in their right mind leave any such deliciousness sitting in front of a greedy dog? Some things are simply unfair on so many levels.

We're joining our hosts Dachshund Nola and Sugar The Golden Retriever in the Black And White Sunday Blog Hop. We send many thanks their way, and you can join in below.

  1. Earl, you can probably knock that trash bin over if you give it just a bit of a nudge!

    1. To do something so mischievous would be crossing his line; he's a good dog and always will be!

    1. I guess you can't just dump a food-filled bin bag just anywhere! Near the main bin is somewhere the dogs hang around on more of a regular basis, in the hope of a delicious morsel, no matter how small.

    1. Ethel's skills of resistance to temptation, on the other hand, failed her well before Earl even glanced at the bin bag. I caught her with an empty food packet only minutes after the bin bag had been placed on the ground.

    1. Although you are correct in the majority of senses, Earl is an exception. He never even placed a single prancing paw on this bin bag, even though his struggle was obvious!

    1. Aren't humans mean? Taking dogs in, loving them, caring for them and then placing unavailable edibles in front of them!

    1. Sometimes we just don't realise what we're doing when we dump a food-full bin bag in front of a characteristically greedy canine!
