G is for Ginormous - A-Z Special of Tasty Tuesday & National Dog Fighting Awareness Day

Its G day today for the A-Z Blogging Challenge, and our G stands for Ginormous - Ginormous Treats!
They came in the post with a welcoming paw by Earl!

Yesterday, I was happy to receive a tube of Thrive ProReward 100% Chicken Dog Treats! If I am correct, I won them from last month's Your Dog Magazine Freebies. Earl was extremely appreciative! Buy when I opened up the tube, the treats inside were GINORMOUS! And appreciated in such a way!

Look how ginormous they are! But all the same, Earl adored them!

So I took THREE photos of Earl sat with the tube. And ALL three photos, Earl had his tongue out, licking him chops! That at the least says something!!

You see, Earl is a highly greedy dog! He will do all he can to show you that he is ready to eat! Oh yes, I forgot… you don't need telling that Earl is hungry, you just get that feeling, which is, frankly, all the time!!

These treats are full to the brim of tasty ingredients… you guessed it!

CHICKEN, CHICKEN, CHICKEN!

All 100% Chicken. Much recommend treats by us.

We are also taking part in the Tasty Tuesday Blog Hop!

Most kindly hosted by Golden Woofs: Sugar The Golden Retriever and Kol's Notes.

It is ALSO National Dog Fighting Awareness Day, which we are happy but serious to take part in as part of our busy hopping Tuesday.

OK, so let me start this little bit about Fighting against Dog Fighting.

It shouldn't happen! To me, Dog Fighting is the worst possible sport people take part in nowadays. Betting on a dog to tear the other dog apart is just sick, and unfair to the animal. I'd like to take those people who find it amusing, or even comical, into the ring and let them see how it feels to be hurt badly.

The breeds you would be more likely to see are breeds such as Pit Bulls and Staffordshire Bull Terriers. The poor little dogs have a terrible reputation, but its deed, not breed! And us, the humans and owners, have done this.

If you truly feel that you have the time, effort, room, and care for another dog to your household, how about considering rescuing and adopting a Staffie? They need YOU to help bring their reputation to an end and bring a nicer, more positive one back in again. That is what they deserve.

Be the Voice for that animal - be the voice for all animals and help us put a stop to Dog Fighting.

If you help share the news and raise awareness today, you can feel proud. You have indeed taken part in…

Thank you.

Our first linky list is for Tasty Tuesday.
Our second is for National Dog Fighting Awareness Day.

  7. It's about time the Government woke up and realised BSL isn't working instead of being blind to the fact, we should be blaming the humans.

  10. I can't believe anyone in this day and age would support or take part in dogfighting. It seems as archaic as sacrificing children to Moloch. It's sad how many people believe the worst of Pit Bulls, when a century ago there were considered nanny dogs, and Sgt. Stubby was a decorated war hero.
