Q is for Quiet - A-Z Special of Sepia Saturday

Its officially Q day today in the A-Z Blogging Challenge. Now yesterday, I got you excited by saying we had an exciting, humorous, blah blah blah of a post today… Well, when you saw the title 'Quiet', I bet you crossed your arms, huffed, and some of you may have smirked a bit. But you will see why its exciting, if you read on!!

Well, today, we're being very quiet because we're celebrating our main Easter Day on a Saturday. OK, no big deal, you're thinking. But there is no Easter Saturday. All our big main celebrations go on today in our group of family and friends. Its simply because we're being a busy bunch on Friday, Sunday and Monday. Make sense now? Saturday is free.

So don't be dumbfounded that today's 'exciting' post was titled 'quiet'! But I don't blame whoever did. Unless its Wordless Wednesday, quite or even silent bloggers don't always fit the bill of a true blogger, BOL!

Some words or woofs at least are usually used by bloggers!

So from now on, Easter Saturday is a living, breathing (!!) day and occasion!

We are also thrilled to be joining Ruckus The Eskie for his Sepia Saturday Blog Hop, in which he hosts very generously and very willingly by himself. Lets give it up for Ruckus everybody and fur-bodies!!

Now, guess what I got my boy for Easter?! That's right!

Just to really spoil him (as if I wasn't already doing so…) A DOG-SAFE CHOCOLATE EASTER EGG! He loved it.

And of course, him appreciating his card as much as he possibly could. I was pleased though - seriously, it didn't have food in it…

But he DID get his egg!

You know, I think Homer Simpson and Earl must have been separated at birth… they've proved so similar…

Oh, and this morning, I also attempted to get a sweet Easter photo to convert into Sepia with Earl wearing an Easter bonnet posing with his paw on an egg basket. But he was having non of it.

By the way, Earl is under there somewhere.

For him, it was just tiring!

And guess what I got for Easter??

And as you could probably gather, today's post was in fact not so quiet. But the meaning is still there, and we are still acting a little shifty and a little quiet about it… Oh well! Lets go and enjoy the celebrations anyhow!
